Combat Arena CQB Rules
Velocity Limit:
- 350 F.P.S. w/ .2 gram bb for AEG's, spring and Gas Guns.*
- 400 F.P.S. w/ .2 gram bb for Spring powered sniper rifles and shotguns.
- 8mm gas grenades can only be used w/ HFC 134 gas. Slug and paintball grenades are prohibited.
- Maximum bb weight allowed is .3 gram.
- Decelerators and other velocity reducers are not allowed.
- *375 F.P.S. w/ .2 gram bb for all Gas Handguns on Tactical Force on Force Sunday.
Safety Gear:
- Full face masks are required. Shop goggles and sunglasses are not appropriate safety gear.
- Shoes are also required.
- Neck protection, gloves, long pants, and long sleeves are optional but highly recommended.
- Goggles must be on at all times when in the loading zone and playing field.
General safety rules:
- All players must have a signed waiver of liability to play. Minors must have parents permission.
- A hit anywhere on your body, including your gun, counts as an elimination.
- No running up or down stairs.
- No hand to hand combat.
- No climbing on or moving bunkers.
- No blind firing.
- Fireworks and other types of pyrotechnics are prohibited.
- Friendly fire does count.
- You cannot call another player "hit" or "out".
- Two-way radios are only allowed in Private games.
Penalties:
The Field Judges will decide how to deal with rules violations. Penalties will be as simple as a verbal warning to being told to sit out a few games. Major infractions could result in players being asked to leave for the day without refund. Continued violations of any rules could result in players being banned from the Arena.

On Sunday December 5, 2004, Power Edge Hawaii held the first Airsoft "Practical pistol" or "Combat" shooting competition in Hawaii. Beginning at 10:00am, eleven competitors came to test thier shooting and movement skills against each other in 2 timed stages that consisted of anywhere from 12 to 20 targets.

Full-face safety gear is required for play in the Power Edge C.Q.B. Zone. Long sleeves, neck protection, and gloves are suggested. |
